Prices in Slovenia Hotels

Many people tend to think about central and eastern European countries as cheap. This is not the case. Slovenia as member of the EU and the Eurozone by no means is cheap and this applies to hotels too.

Always book your hotel in advance especially if you plan to visit Slovenia during the peak season in July-August. In these months most hotels on the coast (Piran, Portoroz, Koper), in Ljubljana and in other popular resorts are fully booked. Ski resorts Like Maribor Pohorje, or Kranjska Gora have another high season between December-March.

In Luxury Hotels in Slovenia expect to pay between 100-300 € per night.

Rooms in 4 star Hotels cost around 100-200 €.

A double room in a Budget Hotel can cost you (3 star hotels) around 80-130 €

For double rooms in Cheap Hotels 50-80 € is charged.

Hotel prices usually include a buffet breakfast.
