The Grand Hotel Union Executive is a lovely luxury hotel in Ljubljana housed in an art-nouveau historic building. The location of the hotel is perfect: the Old Town is just a few steps from the hotel including Preseren Square and the Three Bridges, and Ljubljana Castle. Rooms are spacious and clean including the bathrooms but have slightly outdated decoration. Indoor swimming pool and the sauna on the top floor are great. There're also a fitness room, and hair salon in the hotel.

The Grand Hotel Union Business is part of the Grand Hotel Union group and the hotel shares facilities (breakfast room) with the Grand Hotel Union Executive. Rooms in Business are slightly cheaper than in the Executive. The location is unbeatable: very near to the city centre and all the main sights. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy. Many travellers who stayed at the Grand Hotel Union Busines said that it's more like an overpriced 3-star hotel with boring rooms featuring outdated decor.
