Antiq Hotel is a centrally located family run establishment in old part of downtown Ljubljana. Set in a quaint historical house on a small, romantic square (Gornji trg) Antiq hotel is perfect for those who plan to do lots of sightseeing in the centre of Ljubljana.

Staying at Antiq Hotel you'll be close to (within walking distance) to major attractions like Ljubljana castle, restaurants, cafes, nightlife.

According tarvellers' reviews the decor of the hotel needs some redoing. Rooms are spacious enough but are furnished with cheap, basic items.

There're two family apartments for max. 4 persons in Antique Hotel, one is a 2-bedroom duplex the size of which is 57.6 sq.meters, the other is a double-room attic apartment also for 4 person.

A buffet breakfast is included in the room price. There's a small patio with a fountain which add to the slightly quaint charm of the Antiq Hotel.

Hotel Emonec is a basic 2-star hotel in the very heart of Ljubljana just off Preseren Square (Presernov trg) in the Old Town.

This is a fairly large standard-looking 3-star hotel in a 12 story building offering 200 rooms with basic furnishings and decor.

M Hotel is a bit far from the city centre (1.5 km) but it's situated near the lovely Tivoli Park. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get into the town centre by bus (ticket costs 1 €), and roughly 30 minutes by walk.

The M Hotel offers accommodation in 154 simply but tastefuly furnished rooms with air-conditioning. The clean , slightly utilitarian rooms have TV with some English channels, telephone, desk and chairs, minibar, bathroom with shower, desk.

There's a spacious conference room equipped with modern technical gadgets necessary for business meetings and workshops.

The hotel has a laundry room on the 4th floor which is avaibale between 7.00-22.00.

This 4-star Ljubljana hotel is a fairly large complex housed in a concrete building along a buy road.

It has 216 air-conditioned rooms in 4 categories. Rooms are spacious and have large flat screen TV.

If you're looking for a very centrally located hotel than the Austria Trend Hotel is not for you. Bus runs every 30 minutes and the fare is 1 €, it takes you to the city centre in about 20 minutes.

It's a bit far from the centre, but if you don't mind hopping in a taxi (taxi fare is about 7.50 € for both directions9 occasionally than it's a fairly decent hotel.

You can park your car in a nearby garage for 15 €/day. The best thing about Austria Trend Hotel is its oriental wellness center called Sense with various massage treatments, jacuzzi and sauna.

The hotel has 2 restaurants, the Marco Polo Restaurant and the Cassiopeia restaurant. There's also an Oyster & Sushi bar.

You can chill out in the Havana Bar & Lounge which offers a choice of 100 cocktails. if you're a wine enthusiast taste wines in the hotel's Wine Cellar.

Overall the Austria Hotel is a reasonable business hotel in Ljubljana.

Bit Center Hotel * a good-value cheap hotel in Ljubljana's green belt

Bit Center complex lies in the green belt of Ljubljana some 2 km far from the centre. The bus trip to downtown Ljubljana is about 15 minutes. Bus service runs in every 10 minutes.

The Bit Center contains a hotel, a youth hostel and a sport center with badminton and squash courts, a fitness center. Some wellness services are also offered (sauna, massage, and solarium) that you can enjoy after a refreshing sport activity.

There's also a cafe with a terrace where you relax by a drink.

Families with little kids will appreciate the playground on the front lawn.

The Bit Center has 26 rooms with large bed (French bed) and 13 rooms with two separate beds. All rooms have shower and toilet, cable TV. There's a spacious parking lot in fron tof the otel building.

Since the Bit center is a 1-star hotel don't expect fancy room furnishings and extra services. The Working Inn Hostel occupies the ground floor of the building with even more cheaper prices that the hotel.

A self-service breakfast can be requested.

The young staff is friendly and speaks good English.

According to travellers' reviews the hotel is a bit noisy especially if partying younger generation guests stay at the hotel. Further complaints include:shampoo and towels aren't provided.
